An autonomous and influential position has arisen for a Environmental Director to join an independent infrastructure and property consultancy specialising in environment, planning, and sustainability.

In this essential role, you will lead the Environmental team, working closely with other business unit leads. You'll be at the forefront of delivering and managing projects, growing the business, and further building the market presence in this crucial area.

The successful Environmental Director will:

  • Bring 10+ years of relevant experience in the environment, planning, and sustainability sectors
  • Demonstrate expertise in preparing and delivering Environment Management Plans and Consent Management Plans
  • Show proficiency in stakeholder engagement, specifically liaising with Consenting Authorities
  • Possess strong project and people management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members
  • Have an active network of contacts in Environmental Management and Consents sectors
