A strategic and influential position has arisen for a Head of Health and Safety to join Electric Thermal Solutions (ETS), within the globally recognized FTSE 100 Spirax Group.

 

Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, with a dotted line to both the ETS President and Group Health & Safety Director, this role will help shape ETS's approach to safety across their four brands (Chromalox, Thermocoax, Durex and Vulcanic) in their 17 supply and 15 sales sites.

The successful Head of Health and Safety will:

 

• Bring 10+ years of health and safety leadership experience in a high-risk, industrial environment, with a background in machinery safety.
• Have a proven track record of delivering behavioural and cultural change programmes, resulting in dramatically improved health and safety performance
• Demonstrate the gravitas to engage and influence at executive level, earning trust across the organisation.
• Be a collaborative, humble leader with strong initiative and integrity.
• Hold relevant health and safety qualifications, ideally with or working towards CMIOSH accreditation.

 

In return, the successful individual will receive an attractive compensation package consisting of:

 

• Base salary circa £125,000 - £145,000.
• Yearly bonus of up to 20% of base salary
• Generous car allowance and pension contribution
• Flexibility to work remotely, with travel up to 40%
• 25 days of annual leave, with additional volunteering and holiday closure days
• Ability to work remotley anywhere across Europe
