A collaborative and rewarding position has arisen for a Regional Safety, Health and Environment Manager to join a successful construction organisation.
 
This role is reporting into the SHEQ Director, working closely with Health and Safety teams to maintain a positive safety culture and standards.  Covering areas in Central London, you will spend much of your time visiting various construction sites developing best practice systems.

The successful Lead SHEQ Manager will:
  • Review and update SHEQ procedures to align with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 standards and new legislative changes.
  • Provide technical advice and support to all departments and job sites for effective SHEQ policy implementation.
  • Collaborate with departments and the SHEQ Director to develop and maintain best practice safety systems.
  • Ensure consistent SHEQ practices across regions and projects, promoting change and improvement.
  • Guide and assist subcontractors to align their practices with SHEQ standards.
  • Lead SHEQ improvement initiatives, including trials, proposals, training, and information dissemination.
  • Conduct and support training sessions for site teams to enhance SHEQ compliance.
  • Analyse site visit scores and reports, identify trends, and offer guidance to improve SHEQ performance.
  • Perform regular site inspections, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and recommending preventive actions.

  • Salary of up to £80k
