We are seeking a Project Development Manager to join an innovative and expanding renewable energy developer. Based in Hamburg, you’ll play a pivotal role in originating, developing, and managing solar PV projects, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to bring them to Ready-to-Build (RTB) stage.


Key responsibilities for the Project Development Manager:

• Originate and acquire land plots suitable for utility-scale solar PV projects.

• Oversee all phases of project development, ensuring compliance with financing and technical requirements.

• Build relationships and negotiate with local authorities, public bodies, and other stakeholders.

• Manage and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and local partners to deliver RTB projects.

• Prepare decision templates, investment memos, and reports to support management in negotiations.

• Implement local marketing strategies to support project goals.

The ideal Project Development Manager will:

• Be fluent in German (native or advanced level) and English (company language).

• Have 3–5 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy project development.

• Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Be comfortable working under pressure with strict deadlines and budgets.

• Have a degree in engineering, economics, or a related field (an MSc is a plus).
