The Role

We are seeking a Senior/Principal Carbon Consultant to join a growing environmental service specialist within the built environment.

 

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape their embodied carbon service offering and lead high-profile projects across various sectors.

 

As a Senior/Principal Carbon Consultant, you will:

  • Conduct whole life carbon assessments and develop reduction strategies for diverse projects.

  • Contribute to the development of tools, methodologies, and best practices in embodied carbon assessment.

  • Provide expert advice and build strong relationships with clients and project teams.

  • Contribute to industry working groups and help shape embodied carbon regulations and standards.

  • Guide junior team members and contribute to the growth of our sustainability practice.

  • Be able to commute to the London office 2-3 days per week.

About You

To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in embodied carbon assessment and sustainable design.

  • Proficiency in whole life carbon assessment tools and methodologies (e.g., OneClick LCA).

  • Familiarity with relevant standards and circular economy principles.

  • Ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.

  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
