An opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability Manager to join a leading consultancy that is deeply involved in the sustainability aspects of the HS2 project. This role will be based primarily on-site at Curzon Street, Birmingham, with the flexibility to work in London as well. 

Reporting directly to the Sustainability Director, this position offers a unique chance to work on one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK.

The successful Sustainability Manager will:

  • Hold a degree or diploma in a relevant field.

  • Have 5-8 years of experience in sustainability, with a strong understanding of BREEAM and carbon reporting.

  • Possess solid site experience, particularly in construction-heavy environments.

  • Be proficient in conducting BREEAM assessments and understanding WELL standards, air quality, and glazing.

  • Be comfortable with client presentations and managing site visits, with a focus on both design and reporting.
